A bit of history
It is hard to establish the origin of the path. In the past, this perimeter road that surrounds the whole island had basically a defensive purpose. The path then allowed the soldiers to communicate between watchtowers, batteries and other fortifications in order to guard the coast from a possible incursion by the enemy.
Its functionality has changed a lot since its origins. Today and after many citizen demands and also thanks to the administration help the path has become an internationally recognized hiking and MTB route.
Personalized stages
We offer you the option that best suits your level, avoiding very technical sections, doing interior sections unknown by many but as beautiful or even charmer than the coast or starting and ending at the same point. You decide
The path starting from a central accomodation
This is the best option for those who have a house or a permanent accomodation. We pick you up every morning and we take you to the start point of the stage. At the end of the stage, we pick you up again and we leave you home. A simple and very pleasant way to do it!

The stages
The path can be done in serveral stages. We always recommend to do it in 4 stages. This mode allows you to enjoy the landscape, take pictures and finish each stretch without worrying about the time. Take it easy, you are on holiday!
On the other hand, there is the possibility to do it in 3-5 or 6 stages, depending on the available time
