The S-Works Prevail 3 helmet is perfect for cyclists who value the comfort and benefits of thermoregulation that offers superior ventilation. It is the definitive helmet that stands out in heat conditions, extenuating rises and mountain stages.

In an endless quest to overcome the limits of ventilation, we have removed the foam "bridges" that block the air circulation in the center, effectively creating air channels that increase the ventilation surface by 24.5% compared to the S-Works Prevail II Vent helmet. The new S-Works Prevail 3 has the largest ventilation surface of all the helmets we have made.

When a helmet gets an impact, its work is to dissipate the energy of it. The conventional approach when designing helmets is that more foam (EPS) means better energy management. We have revolutionized the design of the cycling helmets innovating beyond the foam. The "cables" of aramide fiber cross the helmet and are anchored to the side panels of carbon fiber. In case of impact, AirCage* technology works as a suspension bridge and is designed to distribute the forces located throughout the helmet.

The occipital adjustment optimizes comfort by customizing the adjustment to the individual shape of the head and the helmet angle can be adjusted to make it compatible with the glasses. The Tri-Fix adjustable strap system offers cyclists a greater comfort with new thinner 10 mm tapes that minimize noise at high speed. And the Mindset ultralight microadjustment system, prepared to install the ANGI system and with height regulation, has been updated to improve its grip and offer a simple setting in motion.

Our ultralight technology and with incomparable comfort MIPS Air Node is integrated directly into the hull pad system, with a low friction layer designed to dissipate the rotation forces generated in the impacts. With Specialized's own development work, we have added perforations to maximize breathability, performance, comfort and weight savings.
