Like all our S-Works bikes, the S-Works Stumpjumper is dressed to impress. The wireless electronic group SRAM XX Eagle Transmission handles the changes, while the suspension FOX Factory provides smooth driving.
CHARACTERISTICS
- THE TRAIL BENCHMARK-When we proposed to design the new Stumpjumper, we were pursuing very ambitious goals. I had to stand out in any kind of track, for any driver style. To achieve this, we look for a significant reduction in weight without sacrificing durability, a rigid chassis with a high response capacity that remains light and agile, a geometry that will improve the driving of the whole world and the best kinematic suspension.
- THE 130MM OF RESOURCE MORE DULTS THAT YOU'LL DO IN PRACTICAL - We have improved the Stumpjumper suspension kinematics to get the most optimal performance possible in a 130mm package. Countless hours of development in the lab of suspensions and tests on the ground have created a refined mid-way ripper that eats the most complicated terrain as a beast fed by gravity, is handled as a dream everywhere and climbs as if it had a motor.
- PROGRESS GEOMETRY-The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper gives in the nail of progressivity. It is long, low and loose, with a short scrolling fork and a more pronounced sillin tube angle. These numbers combine to make your driving more stable, that the climbs are more comfortable, and that is better at all. With the possibility of setting FlipChip you can adjust it even more, making sure your new Stumpjumper behaves perfectly on any terrain.
- RIDER-FIRST ENGINEEREDTM -The Rider- EngineerFirstTM tables use a specific driving characteristics approach for each size that ensures a reference management and impeccable performance, regardless of the size of the frame or the cyclist. Whether you are a child looking to jump that mounts an S1, or if you are a DH giant that needs a longer S6, you will experience the same driving characteristics (a step by precise curve and a balanced front and rear stiffness) with the lightest possible weight. And by light, we mean really light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, size S-3, with rear shock absorber).
- SWATTM-We introduced the SWATTM door at the Stumpjumper in 2016, adding space in your spare chamber and pump box.
