By adjusting the buffers along with the chassis lever rates and the new kinematics, we can offer a bicycle that goes beyond the sum of its parts.
BIOMECANICA EFFICIENCY: By optimizing the kinematic of the suspension, the Ride Dynamics team of Specialized reduced the inefficient balance caused by the pedaling by 20%, while maintaining an active suspension for effective management of the potholes, ensuring that you remain in the most efficient pedaling position. It's the most efficient suspension bike we've tried.
MORE WITH LESS: With Epic 8, we don't spend a single extra gram to get maximum frame capacity. All models now have SWAT 4.0 to carry all of your essential path elements, and an integrated direction cap to avoid the ubiquitous top tube scar the first time you get stars and your handlebars spin. In fact, the new Epic 8 S-Works picture has lost weight (76 grams to be exact) while obtaining these new additions.
